A National Singing Contest for Renters

ARIUM is a national apartment brand that is working to make renting better. This summer, ARIUM is on a mission to change the lives of many renters through its national singing contest, Sounds of Summer, open to ANY renter in America. With the backing of music industry veterans, contestants will get enormous exposure, free prizes, opportunities to travel and perform, mentorship by celebrities, and a chance to win an entire year of free rent*.

Official Terms and Conditions

Please read the entire Terms and Conditions Here. 

      • The contest is open to any legal resident of the fifty United States and the District of Columbia, ages 13 and up, who rents their primary residence. For those under 18, a parent or legal guardian must apply on your behalf and will be required to travel with you for production.
      • ARIUM will confirm each contestant’s eligibility status.
      • Submissions open April 1, 2024, at 12:01 AM and will close April 30, 2024, at 11:59 pm.
      • Video submissions should not exceed 4 minutes, with a maximum file size of 500 MB.
      • One submission per entry.
      • 60 contestants will be chosen to enter the contest and will be notified.
      • Judges will choose 10 semi-finalists based on the virality of the submitted content and the overall talent and creativity of the contestant.
      • Public voting will determine the 4 finalists who will perform in front of a live audience on a big stage to compete to be the overall winner.
      • Public voting will determine the overall winner.
      • Contestants who make the final 4 will be required to travel twice for video production and performances. ARIUM will cover airfare and hotel.

Meet Max Vogel, a talented country artist hailing from Lodi, California, has had music in his veins since he first picked up a guitar in eighth grade. With guitar and vocals as his main instruments, Max’s musical journey spans over two decades, during which he has developed his skills and crafted heartfelt songs. While country, folk, and rock are his favorite genres, Max finds inspiration in various musical styles. Winning a year of free rent would enable Max to invest more in his music career, pay off student loans, and build savings.
